Intercultural training programmes for lawyers

Share:
Provision of legal services is becoming more and more international and requires a wide range of skills beyond good knowledge of law.

The internationalization of economic relations had important implications for professionals offering legal advice. Lawyers are called upon ever more frequently to advise foreign clients and become involved in international business transactions.

While expertise in international law is important, practising law in international environments is not enough. Understanding how culture affects the way we act and apply the law is also crucial. Am I attending well to the needs of my foreign clients? Is there room for improvement in my efficiency when advising on international negotiations? Why do partners from some countries so often change preliminary agreements? What should I take into account when representing foreign clients in court? Lawyers are faced with these and many other related questions. We provide the answers in our training sessions.

We are one of the very few specialists in developing intercultural competence in the legal sector.
